About Project

Whole Price Index System is a software designed and developed for Nepal Rastra Bank, Central Bank of Nepal for collection of wholesaler/reseller price points of different commodities and services from the target geographic locations. It then calculates the Wholesale Price Index for each set of collected price points using predetermined weights. The WPI is used for deriving inflation, identification and implementation of subsequent policy interventions in the economy
